Trusted Helpers is an online directory platform that connects families with independent babysitters and local helpers. We are not an employment agency, we do not directly hire caregivers, and we do not act as the employer of any caregiver listed on our site.
While we conduct basic checks (identity, background where possible, and references), we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any profile. Families must perform their own due diligence, including in-person interviews, additional reference checks, and any other investigation they deem necessary before hiring.
Any employment agreement, contract, or working relationship is entered into directly between the family and the caregiver. Trusted Helpers is not a party to such agreement and assumes no responsibility for the terms, conditions, performance, or breach of such agreement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trusted Helpers and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of data, lost profits, or property damage, resulting from the use of our services or any hiring made through the platform.
Caregiver profiles are created and maintained by the caregivers themselves. We do not guarantee that information (rates, availability, experience, certifications) is current or accurate. Families should confirm all details directly with the caregiver.
The US$7.99 fee charged by Trusted Helpers is a service fee for intermediating a real-world booking with a caregiver (verification, coordination, and contact release), not for the caregiving work itself. Compensation for hours worked is agreed and paid directly between the family and the caregiver, outside the platform. The fee is only charged after the caregiver accepts the booking. If the service is not delivered, contact support to process a full refund.
