We also automatically collect usage information: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interaction time, to improve our services.
We use your information to: operate the platform (display caregiver profiles to families), process the booking service fee, coordinate real-world booking requests, send account-related notifications, verify identities and prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
Caregiver information: Your name, photo, bio, hourly rate, general availability, and experience summary are public. Your phone number, email, full references, and resume are only shared with families after you accept a booking request and the family pays the corresponding service fee.
Family information: Your name and email are visible to caregivers with whom you have a confirmed booking. We do not sell your information to third parties for marketing.
We share data with trusted service providers (Stripe payment processing, cloud storage) that help us operate the platform, subject to confidentiality agreements.
We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and role-based access control. However, no system is 100% secure.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate information, request deletion of your account and data, and object to processing for certain purposes. Contact support to exercise these rights.
We retain your information while your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Transaction data is retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
