By accessing or using Trusted Helpers, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on Trusted Helpers. By registering, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You may not share your account with third parties.
You may not use the platform to: harass, intimidate, or discriminate against other users; post false or misleading information; impersonate another person; collect information about other users without their consent; or violate any applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
You retain ownership of content you post (profiles, resumes, references). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, modify, and display such content on the platform. You must not post content that infringes the copyright or privacy rights of others.
Trusted Helpers charges a one-time service fee of US$7.99 per confirmed booking. This fee covers real-world booking intermediation: caregiver identity verification, scheduling coordination, and release of contact details once both parties confirm the booking. The fee does NOT include the caregiver's hourly pay: the family pays the agreed hourly rate directly to the caregiver outside the platform. Payments are processed through Stripe in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes. The fee is only charged after the caregiver accepts the booking request. If the service is not delivered due to reasons attributable to Trusted Helpers or the caregiver, you may request a full refund through support.
You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you violate these terms or if your conduct poses a risk to other users.
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon posting to the platform. Your continued use of the services after such changes constitutes your acceptance.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
